Caryl completed her Honours in 2014, with a research focus on the Expectancy Effect and is currently completing her master’s degree at Monash University. She has worked and volunteered in mental health and all abilities settings for many years across charities, not-for-profits, early years groups and the National Disability Insurance Agency.

Caryl celebrates diversity and individuality in all people, endeavouring to create a warm imaginative space for children to feel valued, seen, and understood. She wishes to allow children to communicate through platforms of their preferences, such as play.

Caryl endeavours to employ gentle playful techniques whilst identifying strengths. She works collaboratively with children and parents to explore what evidence-based strategies may be implemented into the child’s everyday routine to promote their mental health and wellbeing.
