Anya completed her Master of Professional Psychology at La Trobe University in 2024, with a research focus on Borderline Personality Disorder and Mentalisation-Based Therapy. She gained experience during her placement at a Chronic Pain Management Clinic in Lismore and has since worked with a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) organisation, providing neuroaffirming psychological support for autistic individuals, those with ADHD, PTSD symptoms, and emotional or behavioural challenges.
Anya has a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem and self-worth concerns, trauma, attachment difficulties, and interpersonal challenges.
Her therapeutic approach is holistic and person-centred, considering both internal factors—such as psychological, biological, emotional, and behavioural functioning—and external influences, including social, environmental, cultural, and spiritual aspects. By integrating these perspectives, Anya aims to provide a supportive and tailored therapy experience that empowers individuals on their journey toward well-being.
