With a warm, welcoming and calm presence, Belinda works with children, adolescents, teens and their families/carers to navigate the complexities of life. Belinda is passionate about providing a strengths-based, humanistic, neurodiverse affirming, trauma informed and evidence-based approach.
At the heart of Belinda’s practice is a commitment to forming a collaborative relationship with her clients. Belinda listens deeply, is compassionate and sensitive while incorporating humour and play to her sessions.
Utilising a holistic approach and drawing on personal experience, extensive training across a range of counselling modalities and many years of experience supporting children and young people to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
In addition to formal accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker, she has also completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences and training as a yoga instructor for adults and children.
In her spare time, Belinda enjoys spending time with her young family, exploring nature and the outdoors, practicing yoga and meditation, travelling, reading, coffee, gardening, friends and live music.
Belinda is registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
