Refer a Client to Bellarine Psychology
We welcome referrals from GPs, paediatricians, schools, allied health professionals and other community organisations.
Taking the First Step
Therapy referrals
Clients do not need a formal referral to access therapy; they can contact us directly. However, a GP referral with a Mental Health Care Plan makes clients eligible for Medicare rebates on up to 10 sessions per year.
To refer a client for therapy:
- Write a Mental Health Care Plan and referral letter to a psychologist or accredited mental health social worker
- Clients can self-refer directly. Direct them to our New Client Guide or ask them to call reception
We see adults, children and teenagers for a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodevelopmental concerns, life transitions and more.

What You Need to Know
Assessment referrals
We offer a comprehensive range of neurodevelopmental assessments with no current waitlist at our Ocean Grove locations.
Available assessments:
