Supporting workplace mental health
What is an EAP?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential support service that gives your employees access to professional psychological help. All appointments are anonymous and confidential. Staff can use the EAP service for any work-related concerns, like workplace stress, conflict, anxiety, or burnout.
Under Victoria’s WorkSafe psychosocial safety legislation, employers have a legal obligation to identify and manage psychological hazards in the workplace. An EAP is a tangible, meaningful way to meet that obligation and to show your team you take it seriously.
Our EAP is designed for small and medium-sized businesses who want to offer genuine, high-quality support without the complexity of a large corporate program.
We also offer workplace education, support and workshop sessions. See more on our Workshops & Presentations page.
Packages are tailored to the size and needs of your business. Contact us to discuss what would work for your team.
How we do it
Our assessments
ADHD assessments (from age 5)
A comprehensive assessment of attention, executive functioning and emotional regulation, going beyond a symptom checklist to understand the full picture. Includes clinical interview, behavioural observations, standardised questionnaires, written report and feedback session.
Autism assessments (from age 2)
Available as a single clinician or multidisciplinary assessment (involving psychologist and speech pathologist). Uses current best-practice tools, including ADOS-2 (where appropriate for age), MIGDAS2 and ADI-R, as well as lived experience resources and knowledge.
Cognitive assessments (from age 3)
Measures thinking, reasoning and problem-solving across verbal comprehension, visual-spatial ability, working memory and processing speed. Commonly used for NDIS applications, school support planning and as part of broader learning, autism or ADHD assessments.
Learning assessments – dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia + more (from age 6)
Identifies specific learning differences in reading, writing and mathematics, with evidence-based recommendations for school and workplace support.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) assessments
Completed by a multidisciplinary team alongside a paediatrician. Covers cognition, learning, executive functioning, language and adaptive functioning.
Functional assessments
Evaluates adaptive skills and everyday functioning. Commonly used to support NDIS applications or planning for individuals with complex needs.

Choosing the right mental health professional
What is neuroaffirming care?
A psychologist takes time to understand the whole picture – how you or your child thinks, learns, communicates and functions across different settings. The result is a richer and contextual understanding that sits alongside and complements other clinical perspectives
A psychiatrist is the right choice if you already know you’re dealing with something like anxiety or ADHD, and you’re seeking medication. Only a psychiatrist or paediatrician can prescribe ADHD medication in Australia.
Many families see a psychologist first, then share the report with a paediatrician or GP as a next step. We’re happy to explain the options for your situation.
