Group Therapy
Group Therapy at Bellarine Psychology
Sometimes the best support doesn’t come from one-on-one sessions. It comes from realising you’re not the only person going through it.
Group therapy brings together a small number of people facing similar challenges to work through them together, guided by one of our clinicians. Programs typically run 6 to 10 weeks, with a consistent group of participants each week.
What we can do?
Why group therapy works
Group therapy isn’t just a more affordable option. It’s a highly effective, evidence-based approach that offers something different from individual therapy.
You’ll realise you’re not alone
Hearing others share similar experiences reduces self-judgment and isolation in a way that’s hard to replicate one-on-one.
Learning happens in real time
You get to see how others use coping strategies and apply them to your own situation.
Multiple perspectives deepen insight
You get to see how others use coping strategies and apply them to your own situation.
A safe space to practise
