Nola is an accredited Child and Family Counsellor and Play Therapist with over 20 years’ experience of therapeutic intervention for children, families and adults across the life span.
Nola has worked with children and families in both welfare and community-based settings and believes in working holistically with clients to establish their goals and develop the therapeutic intervention accordingly. Nola’s offers clinical assessment and therapy for a range of issues including grief and loss, family relationships including separation and divorce and challenges to mental health such as depression, anxiety and trauma.
Nola is passionate about supporting children and their families to identify their strengths and resources that build resilience and strengthen relationships. Nola draws from a range of systemic, solution focussed and cognitive therapeutic modalities, in addition to offering Child Centred Play Therapy and “The Resilience Doughnut” therapeutic model.
