Mel is a registered psychologist who strives to create a warm and genuine rapport with her clients. Taking a collaborative approach to therapy, Mel's goal is to build a client's insight and sense of empowerment to promote meaningful growth and change.

With a special interest in complex trauma, Mel is interested in how traumatic experiences are trapped, and become a 'new normal' for the body and brain. Mel supports clients struggling with mood difficulties, such as depression and bi-polar presentations, anxiety and panic, personality disorders, attachment and relationships, as well as challenges associated with grief and loss.

Known for her strong commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice, Mel frequently seeks out opportunities to upgrade her knowledge and clinical practice skills in her areas of special interest and beyond.
