“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become” – Carl G Jung

Sam believes it is a privilege to be involved in the transformation of her clients. She is passionate about meeting people where they are at and providing a safe space for them to explore what is most important in their world.

Sam has a background working in adolescent mental health services and in private practice. She has a keen interest in trauma which happens within human relationships, as well as neuroscience, spirituality, and the somatic expression of emotional pain. She treats a range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, mild substance abuse and grief and loss. Sam is LGBTIQA+ inclusive and enjoys working with people from many different cultural backgrounds.

Sam was trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. However, she has also developed a love for Schema Therapy. Sam believes strongly in the capacity of all human beings to heal from their difficulties. No matter what the challenges or the barriers to becoming better, everyone has the ability to be different. With patience, perseverance and support anyone can get where we want to go in life.

Sam is delighted to be available for sessions every second week, Monday through to Saturday.
